Have three wireless units, non of them can get more then one bar when we are in or near our home. have spoken to trouble shooter and nothing has happened. We are less the one mile from two towers and the signal is ok on the west side and north of these. as soon as we get east or south of the towers the signal fails. Seems like it could be a simple fix if someone would attend to it !! This is unacceptable in its current state and if it continues will have to cancel and change our carrier. Please see if you can help !!

Good Company!

I have used AT&T's service since I have had a cell phone and it is a great company. It can get expensive if you don't choose the right plan for yourself, but if you stick to the company, it is well worth it. My husband actually started receiving checks for paying on time every month! The service is bad in some areas, but that is typical of all cell services in my area. They are INCREDIBLY helpful with Customer Service (think staying on the line with you for an hour + to get a problem fixed - awesome!). I will continue to do business with this company!

Picked up a nice AT&T "Go Phone" (no contract) as a bridge phone between contracted carriers. It seemed reasonably priced at $50 but OMG!! It's a trip back in techie time. Seriously?! They offer unlimited internet on this plan but navigating to a website you actually WANT is impossible as are the speeds (they claimed 4G), AND, the internet is delivered in text - haven't seen anything like this service in years. OH, can't forget to mention that IF you want any navigation of ANY kind, that's an extra $10mo. I asked if my plan accessed Google~ They said "Yes." So I suggested that if I could access Google & then I should be able to pull up a Google map for driving directions~ They said, "Yes." Well, NOT true. They disable that feature of Google and treat even the simple driving directions a $10 "app". I'm going right back to what I thought I was paying too much for because at least I could use it. Some day, we'll understand that we're going to have to pay for reliable, fully functioning Talk/Messaging/Web on one phone. The cheaper plans SUCK if you've been used to a better service plan. AT&T user configuration and internet is the worst. Virgin Mobile's call quality is AWFUL but data is great, Cricket has the worst customer service, on & on...

No complaints

When I call AT&T I usually have an ignorant employee who seems to not want to help at all. I called them again yesterday and for only the 2nd time (out of about 50) I actually had an employee who took the time to help me and not only explained things to me once but multiple times about all the different changes I could make to help lower my bill. He was thorough, pleasant to speak with and interested in helping in any way he could. Not only did he take the time to explain things for my present issues but what I can do in the future to continue to save money. He spent quite a while on the phone with me until he was sure I understood everything that I needed to do. He handled everything for me immediately and was very curteous. I wish I could speak with more customer service reps like this gentleman. I don't know how to get a hold of an AT&T representative but would love them to know this gentleman's name and what a great asset he is to their customer service dept.

I have had AT&T for eight years. My pregnant wife drops calls constantly in our house. Like everyone else I have less money now than before. I want to cancel my service but AT&T is trying to charge me big money. My contracts are up in less than three months and they will not waive the ridiculous fees. My wife is worried that she won't be able to make a call in an emergency if one of our three small kids needs medical attention. I have spent close to $15,000 on AT&T service plus eight phones at a few hundred a pop. I feel like they could not care less about me, only my money. Please choose another carrier at all costs.

No Service on Wireless Phone. No Help from AT & T

I spent nearly four hours on the phone with AT & T because my IPhone displayed "No Service" and was stuck in the activation mode after I downloaded from ITunes. I have had AT & T Service with this same number for 12 years. The "customer service" staff (I talked to at least six people) kept telling me it was an Apple issue and to call Apple or go to an Apple store. Then they started telling me I needed a new phone even though I assured them that wasn't the problem. I was told they would give me a break and let me upgrade to a Samsung for only $150.00 (even though the phone wasn't the issue). I was told by another agent that I couldn't cancel and would have to pay through October even though I didn't have service. Finally, the icing on the cake - I found out in speaking to another agent that one of the supervisors indicated I said I dropped my phone in the water, which was a lie. Through persistence with Apple, I finally got my signal issue corrected. No thanks to AT & T. Not only did one of their staff members lie, they were completely unapologetic after I spent an entire afternoon on the phone with them. I am eager to drop my service with them just as soon as my contract expires. My worst customer service experience ever.

I think at&t is the worst thing my dad bought. The internet is lagy and my family can't do nothing at the same time. We bought the best connection without going commercail. Yet we still lag. And now at&t has a new thing were you can only use 150gb a month. Unless we get unlimited internet back at&t is going to lose use. Even know they probaly don't care, I will still think they are a bad company. Thats why they had part of there company bought by verizon. ( If at&t gets this contact me at [email protected] )

AT&T charges hundreds of $ for phones they could not possibly pay over $20 for. They then bleed you dry and cut their costs to the point that most recently you do not get a manual with most new phones. Info has been downloaded to internet which probably saves them another 50 cents per phone. Local employees are very pleasant but you can ascertain very quickly that AT&T has told them how to NOT resolve your problems.

I used the AT&T online chat representative to select all needed features prior to taking a trip to Mexico. I specifically asked what plans I needed and if there was anything I needed to do prior to leaving the country. I returned to two international calls from at &t when I called on 3/31 to resolve the issues. I spent 2 hours on the phone with several representatives including a full analysis of my phone, data, and text usage. They changed all my features including the supposed international feature. I woke up on 4/1 to no data. The international feature was never resolved. I spoke with Kenneth Phillips who was rude and said he could not prove I called in the day before to resolve the issue. I asked to speak with his supervisor, Ruth Montelonto, who was equally rude, and she said I had incurred $2,000 in data charges while I was in Mexico and that I needed to set up a $200 plan to cover the charges. I asked to speak with her supervisor, Juan Alas, and she said I could not speak with him nor could she provide me with his number or email. The representatives the day before told me that I should have been given the right information when I reached out to the online chat person. Kenneth said I should have called in to resolve the issue because a "live" representative would have told me how to avoide the charges. Incredibly frustrated with the time involved (3+) hours and additional charges. Incredibly dissappointed. Ruth also would not provide me with a receipt of our discussion nor a summary of the changes.

This is without a doubt the worst company I have EVER dealt with in my entire life. Which is a horrific statement when you consider that I deal with about 10-15 companies a DAY. AT&T needs national media attention to expose for being the criminals that they are and for being next to impossible to deal with. What is fascinating is that the people that work within AT&T willingly admit that it is impossible for them to communicate internally. What does that tell you?

AT&T promised free calling to Japan this month, prompting my wife, a Japanese national, to purchase an iphone with a two-year AT&T service contract. However, despite numerous attempts over the last ten days at providing AT&T with "required information," which can only be FAXed, she still does not have this service. Service calls are directed to India, where documents cannot be reviewed, and where personnel are apparently trained to simply repeat various lines. This offer is clearly a pessimistic attempt to scam anyone hoping to contact friends or relatives in Japan with an essentially non-deliverable promise. Extremely disappointed, my wife is returning her iphone tomorrow. She will be able to exit her contract, as she is within the legal 30-day window, but she will forfeit a month's useless service and activation fees.
