Ace Solves it All vendor at Altamonte Springs store doesn't honor the rebate.

I contracted with Ace Solves it All to have 2 solar attic fans installed in my house. The salesperson told me that I would get a 10% rebate check for being a Costco executive member. After I paid for the installation, I have not received the rebate. I called the salesperson and then emailed him, but I have not received a response. I also called the toll free number and the customer service representative told me that all the managers were in a meeting and they would call me back within 24 hours. I have not been contacted.
I don't think that this merchant should be allowed to offer services at Costco.

Rude Optometrist

Complaint against :
Independent Eye Doctor at Costco

I walked into Costco on 2/27/16 at approximately 2:44pm. I went inside Dr. Stanchel's office to make an appointment for an eye contact exam. I was greeted by the receptionist and was told I can be seen today. I was pleased with this! As an instructor that has been without contacts for over a year, I was finally able to get them! This was my second visit (was there last year to receive glasses).

The receptionist already had my insurance information at the front desk because I stopped in last week and gave them my info. I was told that my insurance covered the exam but there was a $40 fitting fee. I was not happy to hear this but I was desperate at that point. I filled out the paperwork and was called to the mini exam in the reception room by the receptionist.

I only had to wait approximately 10-15 minutes before Dr. Stanchel called me back. That was the awesome part! She asked if I wanted a distance and reading exam. I said, YES! We went through both exams and she gave me trial contacts. I saw that they were blurry, so she re-tested and corrected the right eye.

SO here I am standing with the trial contacts (which I think explains the fitting see, i.e. paying for the trial pair). SHe gave me the corrected lense for the right eye. I go to the desk to check out and the receptionist says, $75. I said WHAT???? That is not what I agreed to. She said she billed me for both distance and reading. This amount was not disclosed to me previously. If so, I would not agree to it.

So I patiently wait for Dr. Stanchel to finish with her patient. She came out and said, "What is the problem?" She took me to the back (which I appreciated) and asked me to explain the matter at hand. I calmly explained that I did not understand nor was it ever disclosed that there was an additional charge for the reading exam. Dr. Stanchel IMMEDIATELY got an attitude.

In her words and with a nasty disposition, " Well what do you want me to do? The exam is already done! Well your insurance company has already been billed. WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO! The job has already been completed!"

I said, "I only needed distance." In her words, " Well discard the contacts out of your eyes then! Yes, I need you to take them out now!" Her attitude was very disturbing, especially since I sincerely came to her without an attitude!

I said, "No problem," and proceeded to take them out and put my glasses back on. Dr. Stanchel stomped out to the receptionist and said LOUDLY, DON'T YOU EVER GIVE A PRICE TO ANOTHER PATIENT, EVER! I WILL DO IT MYSELF."

I took the prescription, paid the original $40 fitting fee but walked out without a trial pair. I went outside to Costco's optical department to fill the prescription. I went back inside to tell Dr. Stanchel that the entire situation did not go well. I was trying to give her the opportunity to correct herself and apologize. She continued to have an attitude and stated that she does not appreciate doing a service that she is not going to be paid for. In other words, she could care less about anything except her payment!

#1 She was rude to me
#2 She was rude to the receptionist
#3 She did not give me the trial contacts that I paid $40 for
#4 As a returning customer, she should've known I did not need a distance exam.
#5 She did not apologize
#6 I walked away an unhappy customer who felt cheated!
#7 My husband is also a customer and his prescription glasses were not clear. We were not happy with his glasses at all.
#8 Another customer came in to complain about their prescription glasses that were blurry, especially when sitting at the computer!
#9 I am a long time America's Best customer that had never experienced a doctor needing to correct a prescription. I am considering going back because of their EXCELLENT customer service and accuracy alone!
#10 My mom also expressed that she could not see out of the glasses that came from her office.

Even if I understood her pricing policy, NO CUSTOMER DESERVES THIS LEVEL OF UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR! I have a family of 7. Out of 7, four will need glasses. I also have lots of friends and family that I will warn to stay away from this office. Not just because of her unprofessionalism, but because she does not seem to be good at her profession. I do not trust that she has the ability to correct my family's vision as necessary with her guessing tactics. I also have never experienced walking away from a doctor with a prescription that needed correction.

I realize that this is an independent office that is separate from Costco, but her office is inside of your store and a HUGE reflection on your company. I have been a long time customer of Costco and I must say, I am very disappointed. At this point, I am considering switching my membership to Sam's Club.

I love Costco! The products are great, the prices are good and the employees always polite and helpful. For the past few years we have even bought our Christmas trees at Costco. What a great deal! They were always big, beautiful, fresh trees. However this year we were disappointed. The tree was smaller than usual and it didn't even last until Christmas. We watered the tree daily as we always have in the past.The needles fell off so badly that some of the branches were bear and part of the tree was actually brown. We can't imagine how far ahead these trees must have been cut down. We wanted to let you know that this year's Christmas trees were not up to par. We're a little afraid of buying a tree from Costco again. If we do, we sure hope it's back to the quality of trees you've had in the past.

My husband and I went to Costco this afternoon (June 9/15) and purchased their Traditional Sheppard's Pie that we usually love getting as a special treat and were extremely disappointed in the dish. It has been a while since we have gotten it but this was so awful that we had to put ketchup on it just to eat it. This normally is so good we can't wait to get it home...this one had no taste, no seasonings, loose ground meat that wouldn't hold together, s tiny amount of corn and then just plain mashed potato on top with 2 pats of butter on top and it used to have cheese to finish it off.

We spent over $15.00 on the sheppard's pie (after spending over $400.00 at the cash) and I want Costco to know how disappointed we were and would like a gift card in the amount for the sheppard's pie to replace our horrible meal. It is not just that we had a terrible dinner but they ruined a staple in our home that we always bought as well. Thanks for understanding and keeping a customer happy.

Costco chicken burgers

I have been searching all the Costco's close to my home for the 5th street grill chicken burgers (uncured bacon and cheddar burgers) they are pre-cooked and Gluten Free and I always stocked up on them at Costco. They have removed them since the holidays and I want Costco to bring them back in! I love Costco!

I purchased Tony Romas Boneless ribs on 7/14/13, and when I took a bite into a rib something was crunchy. I thought it was a bone , but it clearly was not. It was a sharp greyish looking tiny piece which I bit into. I dont' know what this was but I was horrified I may have swallowed that.



This product should be recalled! I never will buy ribs from in any form of Tony Roma's ever again.

Great bulk prices.

Costco sells its merchandise in large quantities at very good prices. I really value it as a place to buy things like drinks and snacks for parties.

Membership

I am very sick with Newington, VA, Costco. Everytime I go there, the staff always ask me about upgrading to executive membership. When I refuse they would not back away..

Good selection!

The Costco membership is well worth the price! Thousands of high quality bulk foods and goods are provided at this store for awesome prices. They also have great electronics and gifts during the holiday season. The diaper prices and quality are great as well! I love this store!

i just want to comment that the new Kirkland brand seaweeds tasted awful! it is too salty and has a funny taste! Please bring back the original Korean seaweeds! Some things just can't be imitated! Costco should just keep selling merchandize that members like insteaad of trying to create their own Kirkland brand for everything!

DONT FILL GAS AT COSTCO THE PRICE IN TAMPA AVE IS 4.55 AND IN SEPULVIDA BLVD IS 4.7 HOW CAN THAT BE THERE IS ALWAYS 5 TO 9 CENTS MORE .THIS IS A RIP OFF WHEN COSTCO CHARGES US MEMBERSHIP SO WE SAVE AND HERE WE GET RIPPED OFF .COSTCO IS MAKING HIGH PROFITS NOT AS THEY SAY THAT THEY ONLY MAKE 10% THEY ARE CROOKS AND WE HAVE TO START A CLASS ACTION SUE THERE ASEES .LETS START SOMETHING SO WE GET ALL OUR MONEY THAT WE WHERE RIPPED OFF BY THEM.

5th street chicken burgers

Can you please bring back the 5 th street chicken burgers?? My whole family loves these burgers. You gave out samples , and won me over, I usually don't like chicken burgers. Live in Oregon. When will this product return to the Wilsonville Costco? Also I have been going to Costco for the last 20 years,; the service has always been great!

What is happening to Costco?? CHECK your RECEIPT!

In last two months, I had 3 independent incidents where I faced with incorrect transactions (charged 13$ more), poor customer service, very rude employees.

1- I bought 7 items listed in July 12- August 5th coupons. I handed all coupons to the cashier. When I got home, I noticed that only 2 coupons applied among the 7 coupons that must have applied. I confirmed the item numbers. I paid 13$ more. When I called customer service, they were not helpful at all and almost humiliated that I used coupons. Why are they advertising them and sending them to my home then?? Very annoying and disappointing. I asked the customer service representative to at least note the incident and do something to prevent this to happen to other customers. Her response: We cannot do anything when you use coupons.

I suggest other customers to CHECK their RECEIPT. 13$ is not big deal, but how can I trust my transactions are correct?

2- My 3 year old and I were exiting Costco Kirkland. They always make happy face on the back of the receipt when they are checking it at the exit. My daughter exclaimed "yay!! happy face" when we handed the receipt. The Costco employee who were checking the receipt responded her: "Say please. Now say thank you. Do you have any manners?" in a very rude way.

3- Another day, when we were unloading the cart in the parking area, we saw a Costco card on the floor. I took it to check whether it's ours. Since it was not ours, I looked around and then put it in the cart so that I can return it to the warehouse when I finish unloading the cart. In a few minutes a a black, regular car aproached and the lady in the car told:

She:"Where is the card you just picked from floor? Can you give it to me?"
Me: "Sure. Are you a costco employee?"
She: "Yes. I am security"
Me: "Can I see an employee ID?"
She: showed her ID which is not seen otherwise in a grumpy manner.
Me: Thanks. And handed the card from the cart to her.

She should wear her badge visibly. And she can be more polite instead of an accusing manner.

Overall, as a 10 year executive member, I am really fed up with poor Costco service. There's gotta be a better alternative, maybe online. It may take changing habits but this is enough.

How wonderful this product is! After being somewhat hesitant about buying it, (no little blue top like the brand product), less expensive, etc), I finally gav e in...

SURPRISE! It is actually much better than the two brand names you offer, less expensive, more pacs in box, and absolutely efficient.

Kirkland Borguese Replenishing Night Cream

This is an excellent product, like all the ones in in your beauty line.
However, what troubled me is the packaging of this cream. First, it has a transparent plastic cap. Then, you open the main top which has a movable rim that clicks and clicks, but nothing happens. Then, you turn it a little further and a vessel with the cream comes out... Is there any reason for all this complicated jar, or did I get one that is defective? And has some wonderful secret to be a surprise?

Costco auto service at Commerce township MI location

We bought a set of tires 4 years ago. But we had never been informed about the Nitrogen air used for these tires until a technician at another autoshop told us last week. We took the car back to refill the nitrogen air and do a tire rotation last Saturday. We were told that one of the tire had a needle on the sidewall and need be replaced. They put the spare tire and took off the so-called 'bad' tire without our agreement. Since they already did the replacement, we ordered a new tire. But when we took the old tire home, we did not see anything wrong. When we asked technician at the store again, they would say they do not know either. What a pain! We were ripped off again. We will never use Costco auto service. Angry consumer!

I have purchased 3 pieces of Kirkland luggage, after my second use of the 27" piece a corner is severely tattered which I can attribute to airline handling but the zipper slider puller 2 studs on one side into a slot and has jammed, had to pull clothing out of half open lid--won't be buying any luggage from Costco again.

PLEASE BRING THIS ONE BACK IN YOUR INVENTORY!...Love the 5th STREET GRILL CHICKEN BURGERS fully cooked with Sun Dried Tomato and Three Cheeses! Frozen Burger patties are minimally processed with all natural ingredients. I, and a number of my family and friends, have looked in various Costco stores in the Sacramento area (So Sac., Cal Expo,Rocklin-Roseville) and even Atlanta GA! None of the employees in the store knew what I was talking about! One employee said it probably was substituted with the current frozen chicken patties. The subsitute chicken burger being sold is also good, but does not beat the 5th Street Grill burger with sun dried tomato and three cheeses!

Value and Bulk

If you need a lot of whatever you need, Costco is a good place to get it. However, you shouldn't be tricked in to buying masses of stuff you don't need. Their prices on furniture and clothes are good too, although there is not anywhere to try the clothes on.

My family has been faithful customers of Costco for the past 5 or 6 years. Today we went to costco to buy some milk and were very surprised by the cost of 2% milk: it has increased close to a $1 from about two weeks ago. We also noticed the increased prices of other stuff: banana, pork, beef....This is very disappointing. If Costco owners get too greedy, we have to drop our membership.

I was shopping in your Morrow store on Mt. Zion Rd yesterday. I was in the rear about to purchase some bottled water when one of your employees approached and asked if he could place my case of water in my cart. I had to write to tell you what a pleasant surprise this was.

I was in COSTco this afternoon. The reason of my visit was to buy a prescription for my eyes: Durezol emulsion drops. I have with me a promotional debit card from the manufacturer (I suppose to pay only $ 35.00).I ask the clerk at the pharmacy if they will honored that debit card, she said yes. She kept the prescription and the debit card and told me to come back in 1/2 hour. I spend 45 minutes shopping in this particular COSTCO (Cabot Rd. in Laguna Niguel). When I went to pick-up the medicine the cashier told me that they can not take the card without my insurance approval ??? I told them that I am not using my insurance I just want to pay out of my own pocket. The cashier told me to talk to a supervisor but he was not there at the moment. So,I went to TARGET and got the medicine for $35.00.
I will never go back to your Pharmacy again. I am your customer for many years and I never seen people so unproffessional. I am also a retailer and I know about customer service. Of course I left the store without buying anything else.
