Brought My Kenmore elite refrigerator from sears and after 18 months it stopped working. contacted my warranty company; they contacted sears and told them to fix it because all of the parts broken were factory parts. Sears technician put in a new censer and compressor then the warranty company installed a new motherboard. After all that the refrigerator still don't work! Seriously??? Paid $2500 for a refrigerator that lasted 18 months. I've been without a refrigerator now for 2 month! My husband and I brought all of our Kenmore appliances from sears for the last 30 years but after this, NO MORE!!!! I will never buy another Kenmore appliance and I will definitely not purchase anything from Sears again!!!!!!

I remodeled our kitchen in 2013 and bought new kenmore dishwasher. It started leaking in 2016 and the service man said it was the pump and it would run 290+ dollars. If Sears had quality products this would have not happened in just 3 years. Am currently looking for a new dishwasher and will never buy from Sears again.

I have had my Kenmore Grill Model #146.1006510 for just over a year now. Last week I was cooking some ribs and steak on it for a family cookout. I stepped away for 2 minutes and my grill caught on fire! I am meticulous about keeping my grill clean as to avoid grease fires because I am proud of my family and love to host cookouts, so I couldnt figure out why it would catch fire?? Upon further inspection, I found that my burners were all cracked, or broken near the back of the grill! Now my grill is useless without replacement.... after a year of use.... and the burner replacements arent cost effective at almost $30 per burner (x4). I dont understand why this would have happened at only one year of use?

My washer stopped after 10 years. I bought another small top loading kenmore in january. The choices buttons made sense (warm hot cold and combinations). A few weeks ago I had to add something and felt the water in the tub and it was ice cold..not WARM like the setting said. So all these month I washedy stuff in COLD water, which to me is not efficient cleaning. The manual said: Warm water might feel cool to the
touch". What cap is that??? If it feels cool (actually it felt cold) then it's not warm!!!.Am i suppose to wash my stuff in cold water for the next ? Years knowing it might not be clean?I would like to see Kenmore, who used to have great products (we have always bought kenmore appliances) make good and exchange for a machine that let's me wash my laundry in WARM water!!!

My complaint is with the quality of the product. I purchased a Kenmore Elite upright vacuum which mal-functoined during the second use. It was replaced with a new one. However, this is my first ever Kenmore appliance and my last one. It is cheaply made, clumsy to use and has numerous absolutely useless features that no doubt run up the cost. The hoses for the attachments are entirely too short - and who wants to haul around useless tools while vacuuming anyway. Today once again I spent half an hour trying to replace the bag by pressing as instructed. Finally out of frustration I gave it a hard smack and it closed. Perhaps a prize fighter could press it closed, but not a 90 year old female! I have purchased a tank vacuum with LONG hoses to supplement my ELITE Kenmore!!!!!!! Myra

Prior to 1994 owned a Kenmore washer and dryer for 12 years, washing clothes for 2 families about 5 to 6 loads a week. Had one repair in the 12 years. When sold the house washer and dryer were included. In 1994 bought a new Kenmore washer and dryer, heavy duty series 80. It is still going strong to this day, never had a repair. About a year ago my daughter had a fire and we had to wash all of her clothes, bedding, curtains, and rugs, probably about 40 loads, never a problem. Kenmore has served me well over the years and when a product works this well, everyone should know.

Worst grills ever. We purchased a 4 burner grill a few months ago & it sucks. It starts on fire. I called sears they sent a tech out. The tech informed me that there was nothing wrong with the grill. He went on to tell me if we use it often to take it apart & clean it weekly. I informed him i didn't feel i should have to scrub the deflector shields & the entire surface under the burners. That's ridiculous!!! I've always owed Char-Broil grills & never had this problem. Kenmore should be ashamed of their grills.

I purchased a top loading Kenmore washer several years ago, I have to tell you it's the worst washer I ever purchased! It is so loud you can't stay in the same room, my old washer was so quiet, I just had to pass this information on, I'll never purchase another Kenmore product!!

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to complain about the quality of Kenmore washer machine.
We bought our Kenmore top-load high efficiency washer last September from Sears. This year during August, we start to have problems. During the whole wash cycle, it would automatically stop at the part spin'. So, I would have to manually turn the round knob to drain' in order to finish the wash.
However, things start to become even worse in October. The machine stopped filling water to the load and all it would do is hum. We soon called the Sears' service center and we were told because this washer was one month over 1 year warranty, they no longer have responsibility to fix it and we have to pay by ourselves.
So we soon called in a repair man. He gave us the quote to fix it and it would cost us $450 dollars! Under this situation, this matter force us to have to buy another washer machine and the one we have now still looks brand new. We really do not know what to do with it. Should we toss it out as garbage? We fell so badly about it. We spent a lot of money on your washer and it barely worked 1 year for us. It looks unbelievable! We really disappoint about the quality of your product.
I hope you could solve the problem for us and improve the quality of your Kenmore washer.

I have a 6 year old Kenmore stove which has been problematic. 1st cleaning cycle it got so hot it warped the bottom cover pan and the shortening I had in the cupboard next to it. Of course I went to Sears and was told it was no longer warrantee and I purchased a new pan. The door handle would come loose all the time, finally the last time the handle broke and the glass part came out. Not covered. The oven doesn't hold temp, I bake cookies which should take 10-12 minutes at 375 they are done in 8 and I have to turn the pan at 4. The paint is melted off above the vent for the oven because of the heat.

kenmore..
we have owned several of there appliances but they always brake! the dryer was 3 and broke and many other similar stuations. it is a rip off and they are a waste

Kenmore is correctly sold in K-Mart. Cheap shoddy merchandise. Used to be THE brand to purchase for dependability. My mother currently has (her last Kenmore) washer two years old sitting in the garage needing $600.00 worth of repair.TWO FREAKIN YEARS OLD!Undependable and worthless Kenmore. We will replace with an LG.

Paid 1,000 for a Kenmore elite gas dryer 2-2.5 years ago and where the steel drum is seamed together it literally tore a 4" chunk of steel out of the front of the drum where it rides on the rollers. I called sears cs useless so I called 1888kenmore what an absolute waste of time.... They basically told me parts wear out yes I understand a bearing, motor or switch come on the is a f***ing steel drum. I even had the Kenmore rep. tell me that one of the many fabrics we dry with it probably got stuck in the front of the drum and tore the steel. FML are you serious how stupid do these companies think we are I'm not your average Joe when something breaks in my house or my garage I fix it myself I know how things work. From now on they should just bluntly say your an idiot and hang up on you! What ever happened to PRIDE, QUALITY CRAFTSMANSHIP and RESPECT? I'll tell you it went out the window with all the greedy CEO's that are to busy buying Bentley's and Lamborghini's instead of keeping made in America with pride hell no we'll out source out of the country and get it done ten times cheaper and sell for the same price or more. This my friends is why nothing lasts anymore cause we get what they pay for CHEAP

Kenmore NO MORE!
We bought a top loading HE washing machine in March of 2011. After leaving top open, using city water, moving clothes over quickly and using HE detergent, it has been producing mold "flecks" on clothing after each load. Completely nasty. Yesterday the Sears repairman said we just had some bad luck and to repair it would cost more than what we originally paid. He'd never seen that on such a "new" appliance that uses city water. I wish I could post the pictures. Disgusting.

I AM COMPLAINING ABOUT A REFRIGERATOR MODEL 79551322011 It was bought in 05/2011. The guide rails on the ice maker are plastic and have broke now I am unable to use the ice maker. I will have to order new ones and have them probably last for 2 years as the first have. They should have lasted longer than than 2 years. My last refrigerator's ice machine guide rails never broke I had it for 16 years!

Exploding glass oven door!
My Kenmore range, purchased in 2010 for my second home just exploded its glass door while not being used. Glass shards shot 10 feet across the room. The oven was used maybe 10 times prior to this. Sears graciously suggested I purchase an extended warranty to get it fixed. They didn't care that their product was defective and could have killed or maimed someone if we had been home. I am upset to know that this many people are having problems with there appliances from Kenmore.I also have a HUGE problem. I bought a brand new refrigerator from Sears just 3 year ago and have already had 2 repair men out to fix it. I have spent over $400.00 in labor and parts and have lost close to $600.00 in food because all the food spoiled.I like other's will probably NEVER buy another appliance from Kenmore again !!!

I am the unfortunate owner of a "high efficiency" washer made by Kemore. Washing towels in this machine is only marginally better than having to beat them against rock. I am sick and tired of repositioning the towels to prevent the machine load from becomming uneaven and preventing the machine from spinning. If we can find a better option, we will. We have always had Kenmore products. I am very disapponted in this washer. The loads have to be redone so many times that it makes a mockery of the term "high efficiency"

Hello,
I am very dissapointed in Kenmore company Bottom Freezer Refrigerator, which last for our family only 5 years. We got from Sears store. Repair is imposible, it is very expensive (estimated $917.00).
I will not buy any product from this company anymore!

Kenmore products
Have bought a Kenmore washer and water heater in the last year. Both are broken and am getting the run around from Sears. Sears does not back their products nor does Kenmore. With all my options out there, Sears and Kenmore are no longer options.
