Lowes - denial, deflection, and diffusion of responsibility

It's difficult to gauge who's accountable for something. The denial, deflection, and diffusion of the situation prevent you from figuring out who it should be. Taking responsibility for the things they say they will do does not exist ...check out social media their rating stops at 2. They deny any responsability for what custumers are paying for on delivery of products. They deflect responsability from one department to another and nothing is resolved.The difusion is rampant at Lowes, they downplay the severity of a problem every step of the way to avoid responsability.

I recived the delivery of the refrigerator but the old one was not hauled and the new refrigerator was not insalled. The delivery people refused to do any of that. They dump the new refrigerator in my home and raun out of the door in 10 min., under unprofessional pretense. Delivery truck was full with at least 5 or 6 refrigerators to be delivered that day. Lowes's delivery system is outsourced to the third party and are not responsible for any thing other than check out the delivery as succesful in their books. I paid Lowes not them, so they can care less. There was no reciving signature and no contract with the delivery. Terrible business. Lowes does not take responsability for what I paid for either. I paid for instalation, haul and protection plan. None of that I recived. There is no way to talk to a person to resolve any issues with delivery and installations.
I tried for 4 hours (calling) in the day of the delivery and they gave me the run around from one department to another for 4 hours with no resolve. No more business with this company. Too bead, Lowes use to be a great comunity corporation.

Spent $ 10,000 for a new kitchen. Granite counter top cracked in 24 hours. Took 3 months to get it replaced as Lowe's wanted to patch it. Repairman said this was not possible as granite was broken and repaired BEFORE arriving at my home. This was the most expensive granite they carried. Also bought back splash and insulated curtains. Installer broke 1st 2 sets of curtains. Now on 3rd set but they only lasted a year before falling apart.

We bought kitchen cabinets from Lowe's and we thought they were painted; to the contrary, they are laminated and it has pulled away from the backing. Doubt it's even wood. We need help with this! With the price we thought they would last for years. Help!

kitchen countertop colour dispute

Evidently Lowe's decides on the appropriatness of the colour delivered. Since Lowe's would have to pay for a replacement, is it any wonder they decide that whatever colour is delivered is the correct colour. I suggested a third party review (designer) of the colour to settle the dispute. They weren't interested in a just settlement of the dispute. Their way or the highway. Shame on you Lowes. Oh yes, 2 months of procrastinating wasn't enough to deter me from seeking an answer.

LIARS

I will never shop in another Lowes store again. You had my $701.52 for six days on a promise that I would get my pellets delivered this morning, and you didn't even call me to let me know that it would happen. Even after I called the store and spoke to someone that said he would call the truck and see where it was on deliveries, then call me right back. That never happened. Please fire these incompetent employees and get ones that won't lie to your customers. I am going to spread this information on every possible website and form to get people to shop at Home Depot for much better service and support.

Prices not the most reasonable.

While I've always appreciated the help the Lowe's employees gave me, it still never convinced me to overlook their rather high prices.

Trex deck product purchased at Lowe's

I purchased several thousand $$$ o "maintenance free" deck materials made by Trex. It is aweful... warping and MOLDING. Just found out that there is a ntaional class-action lawsuit against Trex for this. COntacted Lowe's but cannot get anone to call me back! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Counter Top and Installation.

I recently purchased a kitchen counter top with an undermounted sink. While the counter top installation was satisfactory the plumbing connections were completely unsatisfactory. Lowes attempted to correct this without success so I have had my own plumber correct this at additional expense. Never again would I trust Lowes for installation of anything.

Great customer service

My local Lowe's is great. I have never gotten anything less than great customer service when I have visited the store. I really like the selection of products and the variety in price and quality.

I purchased a $1500 Whirlpool Gold sid eby side fridge form Lowe's on Hwy 96 in Warner Robins Ga. The first of three was delivered om 4/1/11, it had a hump in the top so I had to cut my upper cabinet to get it to fit, the water line under the fridge was broken, the fridge never cooled. On 4/3/11 Lowe's delivered a repalcement, after delivery while my wife was cleanin git we found a small ding in the door that was filled with yellow paint, it had to have been from the factory as it was under the protecive film, this fridge was plugged in and running for 4 days and never produced the first piece of ice. The third fridge was delivered on 4/8/11. it worked great for 24 hours then the ice maker kicked the bucket. Yesterday 4/10/11 Lowe's on Hwy 96 gave me a great deal on a Samsung fridge, the manager's (Lee and Adriana) and sales person (Dwayne)could not have been more helpful, THANK YOU. Can't say the same about Whirlpool, I approached them about my lost time form work accepting deliveries and the cost of my cabinet ($300 total) and was tunred down flat. I left them with this message, imagine a U-tube video, "Whirlpool and ME" with me outlining my experience with their product!!!

i purchased a $900.00 dishwasher in nov 2010. it doesn't work. i have spent the last
4 months battling with LOWES. the bottom line is IF YOUR NEW APPLIANCE FROM LOWES DOESN 'T WORK..........YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN!!!~!
