Their software is total crap. They will admit that you need to DOWNGRADE" to Internet Explorer 8 (Windows 8 now runs Internet Explorer 10) or their "MSN Explorer" browser won't work. When you do this, you get constant remarks from every website that you need to upgrade your browser. They are using old technology and you pay $100/year for this. When you get in touch with someone who actually understands the problem (good luck) they say they are working on the issue with an upgraded browser. What a joke!!!

Chat
After 5 days of fighting to access my live.com email I chatted with an msn report who had me on the verge of a solution when bang I get a "timed.out" message and could not get her back. It late, I'm tired, I don't feel well and I'm aggravated.Anonymous-94789.... January 19th, 2013
Terrible customer service.
I had a problem with my msn email. Tech support admitted the problem was on their end. I talked to two separate people about this problem and they assured me they were working on it. Nothing happened for three weeks. Finally I removed msn email from my computer and reinstalled it. It would be really nice to deal with support that knew what they were doing and didn't lie to people.Shekhiy.... July 9th, 2011

I hate that your lead stories on my home page require me to go to another web site that frequently leads no where.
It is why I won't be using the MSN web site any longer. I'm also not fond of Bing, I always go to Google when I'm looking for something I feel is important.

I had to sign up for MSN Premium to get MSN to unlock my MSN email account which got locked suddenly when I sent out several emails in a short time. MSN Premium has no way to open new tabs so I ensed up logging on using Internet Explorer or Mozzila Firefox. MSN Premium is slow and not user friendly and I would not reccommend it to anyone. MSN's on line support for any product other than MSN Premium offered no help to solve the email lock-up problem. I am very dissatisfied with MSN and it sounds like from what I have read, that is the general concensus.

I cancelled my MSN account 5 years ago.
Today I got an email stating they charged my CC for $190.00 for renewal.
WHAT!!!
My account magically reappeared, and billed me automatically.
After 5 attempts to get a human being on the phone, and then 20 minutes trying to explain the situation to the representative (nice lady, but poor English skills), they agreed to cancel my account, and take the charges off. She stated that I have been charged this for all those years, and my bad, never noticed it.
MSN is criminal in my book. I hope the legal authorities look into their practices. I am shocked by how many stories I see online about how bad MSN is.
Please beware, and don't make same mistake I did. If you cancel your service, call your credit card company, and tell them to deny charges from them.
