ordered advertised item, which was not in stock, they billed me anyway
Macys.com is so mismanaged it's a joke. They promote items that are no longer made. Bill you immediately for items that either are out of stock or backordered into the next year (for Christmas ornaments). I have now cancelled an order three times and they refuse to either send an item (which I would return) or refund my money. It's a trainwreck.

High Prices, Good Sales.
Macy's can be one of the higher priced department stores, but they have pretty deep discount during thier sales. They offer a range of quality name brands.

Shoe order arrived today. Shipping box was ripped open, shoe box was damaged. Both shoes had scuff marks on the heels. What a disaster. You've had your chance Macy's; no more Macy's mail order purchases for me. It feels and looks like amateur hour. Product was refused and returned via shipper. Now we will see how long it takes for order to be credited back to my account.
