Panasonic-I wish you to know that I purchased a rice cooker in Thailand in 1976 and that the rice cooker still works perfectly-a tribute to Panasonic for sure. Currently reside in Colorado.

I bought a Panasonic Microwave the genius Oven in 1987 for $350. I would like you to know that today, 28 years later, it still sits on my countertop and works. I have never had it serviced or repaired. It has definitely been a good product. My only concern now is it lacks the power of todays microwave ovens. Mine is 700 watts, while the new microwaves are 1100 watts. But I will use this microwave until it dies. Thank you.

Panasonic microwave model nn t9455fx has a serious door latch problem had it fixed now the same problem will not buy another Panasonic microwave due to this problem

.... October 25th, 2013

Today, Oct 26, 2013, my Panasonic microwave model # NNT945SFX stopped working after running a few seconds using code H97. The purchase date was Dec 26, 2011, purchased at Walmart. It should be noted that this unit saw little use during its short life in that maybe once or twice each week it heated up food....we mostly eat out.

I would like for Panasonic to review all complaints concerning this type unit and explain how and why the quality is not there. I do not plan to replace this one with another Panasonic.

Has been really great for me!

My Panasonic hd tv has been really great for me so far! Really good picture and it is definitely worth the discount price that I payed ! Will definitely stick with Panasonic when I buy future tv's!

Also, customer service has been amazing so far! I had a question about hooking up my Rogers box and they awnsered my call the first time.

Products tend to last.

Out of the Panasonic products I've used recently, my electric razor hasn't displayed any problems. Having had it for over five years, it hasn't waned in quality all this time.

NEVER, and I repeat NEVER buy a Panasonic Plasma HDTV!!!!!!! I've had the TV less than 2 years and now the Main Control Board is shot! The blinking light of death. The cost for the board is over $200 then I have to pay for installation. Customer Service is ZERO help! If you by a Panasonic, make sure you buy an EXTRA warranty!

Quality is lacking here.

Panasonic products as a whole seem to be vastly inferior to Sony products to me. They do not measure up, both in terms of product longetivity and customer service response rate.

i purchased a lcd 42 inches viera from panasonic dealer in 2010.in two years both the cards of it got damaged and servics center demands 22000rs for repairng. the technology is very poor that in 2 years it is requiring so much cost.

Bad service...

The customer service is quite terrible. Good luck ever getting a rep on the phone to talk about their broken products, or an email reply regarding the same...

Poor warranty & even poorer customer support

Sent 3 month old waterproof camera in for repairs. Not only was the camera not repaired, they sent it back without talking to us first. They said that because the camera passed the pressure test, it was not functioning due to miss use. The camera was meticulously maintained. Nothing ever touched the seals, it was not dropped and if it had failed the pressure test they would have said we had damaged the seal integrity. In addition Isaac, at the repair facility was very condescending when trying to discuss the matter. We ask for a retest of the camera. We were not contacted after the retest, but the camera was supposedly returned and left outside our door by UPS. Since we no longer live at this address, we can not be sure. After the initial test, Panasonic offered to repair the camera for 180.00 dollars. Now we don't even have a camera to have repaired. We really thought by buying a Panasonic product, we were buying quality. Guess not, sadly disappointed.

I have purchased three Panasonic Inverter Microwave Ovens in the past three years. Each had the exact same faulty door latch. Don't waste your money on Panasonic Microwave ovens! It costs more to have them repaired then to purchase a new one.

Request Panasonic for Product Service n get prepared to be labeled "Blackmailer"

-----------------------------------------
Mr. Daizo Ito
President
Panasonic India 05/02/2012

I behold a last ray of hope which is why I decide to narrate my grievance to you and anticipate that the higher authorities of the so called multinational giant (Panasonic India) would ponder asymptotically and do the needful.

1. I purchased a Panasonic Plasma TV (Model 42V20) from Paarth Electrotech Dwarka Delhi on 09/03/2011. For the past few days I have been beholding an extremely hazy and blurred picture, with faulty primary colour mixing.

2. As a matter of fact, this particular TV set had exhibited a series of such problems earlier too (Please refer to the complaints through mails of 14/05/2011, 15/05/2011, 16/05/2011, 17/05/2011 and 18/05/2011 and a complaint No. 014055). The faults prevailed even after the visit of Mr. Ashvini Kapoor of Panasonic India, however, on his assurance of complete care of the TV in future, I continued with this set.

3. When the picture quality and the colours combination got deteriorated to zero tolerance level, I registered a complaint with the company (mail dated 18/01/2012 Ref. No. PI-CS-1201-012944, and a complaint No 0410070). Consequently, a technician Mr. Shailendra from I-Care workshop visited my premises on 19/01/2012 to examine the TV set. He agreed that the colour amalgamation was faulty, but transferred the blame on airtel, however I had already called the airtel technician on a paid visit to check the connection/signal quality/signal strength and every thing was found to be perfect. I requested him to get my comments on the job sheet but he replied in the negative.

4. Meanwhile my three mails to the company and several calls to the customer care were ignored, and after a tiresome perusal I got a call from Mr. Negi of Panasonic India but by then I had gone for short holidays. I requested Mr. Negi to visit on 27/01/2012 to examine the TV set.
5. I was shocked to receive an SMS from the service centre (i care) on 23/01/2012 that the work against the complaint number 0410070 has been completed to my satisfaction. This implies as if the service engineer had either accomplished the task by a magic stick or would have broken the lock of my premises to complete the job. This exhibits an utter mess and unprofessional attitude of the service centre authorized by Panasonic.

6. Surprisingly there are only two modes of contact with this company for a grieving customer namely
1. Customer care call center 1860 425 1860 / 1800 103 1333
2. E mail [email protected]
I have contacted both these channels 16 times (11 calls and 5 emails) since 18/01/2012 without any revert from the company and could not go beyond that. The head office and the registered office contact numbers ?124-4596600 and?44- 61089300 respectively are never picked up as I tried these for innumerable number of times without success.
It is a huge shame on Panasonic that the top service officials are unapproachable as if they are Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh: OMNIPOTENT BUT INVISIBLE.

The visit of Mr. Negi on 27/01/2012 was a terrible experience for us. During his nearly 30 minutes stay at my premises in front of the TV set, he tried his level best to befool me and my wife and attempted to falsely prove that the colour mixing was correct though his first impression was that the TV screen was reddish, which in fact is and can be verified. Like Mr. Shailender of I - care, Mr. Negi too refused to get my signatures on the job sheet, certainly by dint of the perplex of my remarks about the defective TV.

Finally I decided to seek help from public complaints portal and in turn this company called me a blackmailer having some hidden motives, and making unjustified demands. A customer oriented and a friendly company (as they claim) will never make such irresponsible and unethical statements and tell a lie like this. In fact, I have never demanded from this company any thing except the rectification of the faults in the TV which is my right. If asking for the correction of the faults is an unjustified demand, I shall keep on making such demands innumerable number of times.

With Kind regards

Sincerely yours

Dr. Hemant Kumar

I bought a Panasonic 6.0 phone system TWO MONTHS AGO and now it is not working -- no power to the base, no way to fix it. I will return the product and buy a plain old phone of another brand. I've always used Panasonic products, but I'm done with Panasonic -- cheap shoddy China junk, built to last days, not months. Just pitiful.

I bought a 42" Plasma from Better Deals,TGIP, NOIDA on 26 Jan 10,for 52.5k. This Panasonic Product was faulty on 02 Aug 10,& there was no action till 23 Aug 10. The TV was replaced on 27 Aug 10 and was told that my warrenty will be as per date of purchase ie Jan 10 only.
The replaced Plasma had switching problem on 09 May 11 and till 25 May 11 therewas no action by service centre. The A board was replaced on 27/28 May.
The replaced part was again faulty on 04 Sep11, which was replaced on 17 Sep 11. I have lost faith in this product, since the same part is going faulty again and again.
I still dont know when again this part will go faulty. This part only costs about 12 to 13k,and iwill not be able to afford this again.
Crux of the problem is that this Panasonic product is useless & I shoud have gone for 2X32" LCD instesd of this 42" Plasma.
I would recommend not to go for Panasonic TVs, as you have seen above that after spending 52.5k you can not have any entertainment at home.
I would request Panasonic India to refund my money and take back the Product, before I go to the consumer court for a case against Panasonic.

Panasonic KXTG-6582

I purchased this phone three months ago for my mother's birthday, since she didn't have a cordless phone to use.

Since we have cellphones, and bluetooth handsets thought it would be great to have such thing, and i bought it from USA when i returned to India.

After which i found lot of problems. The power adapter was not compatible, since in India its 230V/50Hz power supply where as this one was having only 110 v/60 HZ power adapter compatibility.(Even though lot of electronic goods are manufactured for power compatibility to both types, panasonic stuck with the basic type. ). so i needed to buy two power adapters for the base and the handset i had. Fine.

Unable to connect to Bluetooth Headset to the phone, (Tried Nokia BH 505, Motorola H270) which work perfectly to the mobile phones i have.

Not even a Nokia headset(normal wired) will work on the handset jack(2.5mm)

Caller-id doesn't work again, since the frequency type used is FSK,compared to DTMF used in other countries. (OOF! had big problems in finding a FSK to DTMF converter which is a separate story. )

Contacted Panasonic support for Headset problem which is still unresolved.

The only good thing i find in this phone is the reception is good even in the first floor when connected to the base(with concrete walls between)with clear voice even though i had a lot of noise in the other corded telephone connected via an extension..

Mobiles work good and they connect to the phone automatically which is the only advantage of using this phone instead of buying a phone from India itself, since Link to Cell technology is not introduced here yet.

Overall Rating is neither great nor good nor bad, I would say...

I have had a model sd-bt56 brad maker for 17 years. I have loved it. The timer on it finally quit working. I have used it constantly almost every week. I need to replace it immediately. I will lool for another one but realize this model probably will not be available. My grandkids will miss my rolls until I can replace it. Thanks for a wonderfull product.

After reading the numerous complaints that have been posted, here, regarding Panasonic products, I felt that I had to add my comments, which most definitely oppose these numerous complaints. I have bought and used Panasonic products for the last 45 years (That's right! - 45 years) and, in fact, still have a portable AM/FM Radio/Cassette Player, which I purchased in 1966 and which still works, today. Most recently, I purchased a 37" LCD Viera TV in January 2009 and it has worked flawlessly. I have 3 phone systems, a DVD Player/Recorder, a digital cassette & VHS Recorder, a microwave, 3 vacuum cleaners, a Technics audio system with tape deck and a Technics electronic piano. And, although it no longer works (mechanical tuner, wood cabinet), I still have a model # CT-90D color TV, purchased in 1966, which I've kept for sentimental reasons. In addition, many of these products are replacements for previously-purchased Panasonic products that were replaced only due to age or because of improved technology and not due to failure. Overall, I cannot imagine a more reliable manufacturer than Panasonic. I'm sure, though, that not all products are trouble-free and if you purchase one that does develop problems, I'm sure it's frustrating since I will admit that one problem area that Panasonic has had for many years is that of prompt, complete and satisfactory customer and service response. If the company would correct those areas, there would be no better manufacturer.

My 42” Plasma HDTV less than a year old just quit working. Power went off got the famous 10 red blinking lights which I find out is a common problem with this Panasonic TV. I was told because it was 42” I had to take it to the repair shop (Sears). They have had my TV for a month and tell me the part has not come in yet, and the attitude was oh well there nothing we can do. I will never buy another Panasonic product again if this is how they treat customers. case #28535588

Lcd Tv

Normally, I stick with Sony for my tvs but thought I would give Panasonic a try. Two years later I can say that I'm extremely surprised that I find the picture quality to rival that of my larger sony lcd. No problems to date and set up was simple and very user friendly.

No help fixing under warranty at all. Get the run around at all times and wrong parts sent when they do get there to fix. Four different times and four different failures. Now the part is on back order and could take more than 4 months!
