i am a newcomer to the RD and kind of disappointed in the selections. in fact, the big type book has been duplicated in the Condensed version recently.the most recent RD has 2 bad novels, Make Me and Come Hell or Highball.....disappointed!!!!!!!!!!

I always enjoy the Readers Digest Select books because I know I won't be left feeling sad, or whatever negative feelings some books leave me with. Thanks,

I love all your books especially your 2011 editions. They were the best. Great job.

Why do they bill you higher for 1Year than they advertise for? Not nice for repeat custumers.

Readers Digest now includes dirty jokes in their Laughter section. The Wallaces must be spinning in their graves. The new editor should be ashamed of herself. Trashing Readers Digest, formerly an American icon. Needless to say, I will never read the magazine again.

Readers Digest bought Reminisce magazines and Country magazines from Roy Reiman. The magazines are a travesty of what they once were. I am letting my subscriptions run out and will never renew. First it was the ads, then the cheap paper, then the muddy photos; and lastly the switch from reader participation and submitted photos. And please dont forget the style revisions that have completely lost the character of the original magazines. Just another mass produced mess lacking in warmth. You blew it Readers Digest. You havent a clue to your reader demographics.

Not sure if worth it

The magazine's small articles make for an interesting read once in a while, but whether these stories make it worth the subscription price is questionable.

I do not like how little stories are written in the RD these days. It now appears to be a one to two sentence story with pages of advertisements. I like the way the RD used to be with informational or real life stories or information that often covered a number of pages. The QUALITY of this magazine has really been downgraded from what it used to be. I would like to no longer subscribe to this magazine. M&D Swanson on 11/15/2011

Not good reading

Reader's Digest's literature may be something to read, but is not particularly useful info, nor quality literature.

RD has really gone downhill from being good to bad over the years. It's no longer a reputable company run by crooked employees who don't know how to serve customers in a professional and honest manner. They must be raking in alot of money from double-billing and misleading subscribers of their hard-earned money. They should be shut-down for good for ripping so many people off. Good luck everybody in getting your money back and good luck cancelling your subscriptions you never asked for.
