to all,
I have been playing wow since the beginning of the game but now before the latest axpantion i switched servers from boulderfist to silvermoon and there was the mistake made.
since the release this server has been on constant lockdown with ques up to 120 minutes.
And this for a game you PAY for.
I have not been able to go oline much during this time but the saddest part is that blizzard just doesnt seem to care, they did not adress the problem nore did they adress the players that they r working on the problem.
This has been going on since a month now and therefore i urge ppl that want to start plaing this game NOT to do it.
there r way more and better games then wow an surtanly with better service then blizzard provides.

Nice game
Blizzard's games have always been more about style than being on the cutting edge of graphics, it seems. World of Warcraft is no different. While some of the textures are noticeably low resolution, the models lack extra polygons, and the water is merely a semi-transparent animated bitmap without any reflections, the style of this game is overwhelming. Pretty much everything from the previous Warcraft games has been translated with minimal flaws. Flaws, for example, like human females always looking like they're running in heels. Aside from that, most all character animations are smooth, lifelike, yet unlifelike. Regardless, pretty much all the players from Warcraft III are still present. The centaur threat, massive amounts of Murloc colonies, and INSANE FURBOLGS are all present after the great translation from strategy game to MMORPG. You might just forget all about the lack of polygons and low resolution textures in the first place after experiencing the world's charismatic style.

Its really slow with leveling up and so easy to mod and hack that it just makes it boring to play as anyone can kill you easily. I prefer City Of Heroes.

A broken exploitable mess of a game
I tried WoW with the free demo, and that experience alone made me see how broken the game mechanics were. The level-up system is ridiculously slow, which isn't great for a busybody like myself. The ubiquitous hackers who don't bother to hide themselves were a nuisance also. Blizzard had better get their game up, or they'll succumb to the competition.

I and my wife have been long time World of Warcraft players. I started playing on day one, my wife just a little over a year later. Up until the release of Cataclysm we totally enjoyed this game...this expansion pack looks great. The new scenery etcetera is mind blowing. The underwater area known as Vash'jir is stunning in detail. Unfortunately it takes more than pretty little graphics to make a game. Unlike its predecessor "Wrath of the Lich King" this game does not even come close to being as fun and enjoyable as previous expansion packs. If you are between the ages of 6 and twelve you will will love it, but if you are any sort of experienced gamer...you will be sadly disappointed. The game is also over moderated to the point of ludicrous. Up until recently we had 5 accounts betwen my wife and I due to Blizzards inept overmoderation and the lack of gameplay substance in Cataclysm we have decided that the $78.00 we pay for a six month subscription per account...is simply not worth it. Do not waste your money on this product, the adage "You get what you pay for" has never been more fitting than it is with World of Warcraft or rather "You will not even come close to getting what you will have to pay for." is actually more fitting.

WOW = bot
Are they doing the same thing they are acusing us of....... BOTTING.
Getting the same automated response back over and over again. Think they got a bot sitting at their "costumerservice" spamming the same mail.
Have been banned for using at third party program known as a "hack".
Have been mailing them again and again telling them, that i haven't done that to my knowledges.
Been playing for about 5 years, never ever got at warning or anything before. And then BANG perm ban. And of course just as i have paid for the next 6 month of playtime.
Asking question and doesnt get answers. still the same mail. And referal to their terms. i actually sad down and read all of it.
Found out that they are not responsibel for anything, and they can cancel your account wihtout giving any reason at all. So watch out when you agree to their terms. You are totally at their will and they can do what ever they want without any consequence to them.
They dont have to present any prove at all. You have to prove that the are wrong if u can.
