An Expensive Repair

I bought my 2005 SRX in February of this year from a dealer. The car drove good for the first week. I have been sinking money into the car ever since. The second week a coil went and the dealer paid to have the coil and the spark plug replaced. The next week the cad. converter went and the dealer also paid to have it fixed. Once the warranty from the dealership was up I found out that the car needed to have the suspension serviced. We tried to purchase the shocks from an auto parts store and we have been told that they can only be purchased form a Cadillac dealer and they are about $200 a piece. I noticed that I was smelling a faint oil smell so I checked the navigation screen to see what the oil life was and it read that I still had 40% oil life left however when I stopped the car and pulled the stick I had almost no oil in the car. The low oil light did not come on. The same thing for the tire pressure. I have since had another coil go bad so I recently had that coil and all of the spark plugs changed. This morning on my way to work I stopped at a stop light just to find that my car would not shift into gear when the light turned green. The only way I could move the car was to shut it off and start it back up and it would move very slowly. Apparently the transmission fluid life reads 30% but I am completely out of fluid. I wish I would have never purchased this car! I have receipts where the older couple who bought the car before me had made regular service visits but I never imagined that this car would drain me financially.
