Disposable Dehumidifiers

In the beginning it worked very well. After a year the high-speed fan setting no longer worked. A few months after that the humidistat would continually show current humidity at 40%, so the compressor would not cycle. Unfortunately, the only parts available are filters, buckets and caster wheels. A family member has the 50 pint version and has had problems as well. For $200+ you think it would last longer and since parts are not available I guess you are just supposed to recycle it and buy a new one.
