Best Way to Mop Floors

I've had my Oreck Steam-it for about two years and it has revolutionized my house cleaning. My floors are all ceramic tile, so I used to have to fill a bucket to mop all over the house. This required changing the water a lot, and actually more mess making than cleaning. Since I bought the Steam-it, all I have to do is fill its water tank, which holds plenty to clean several rooms, and steam away. I never have to dump out dirty water. Using a heating system similar to a tankless water heater, it produces very hot steam that loosens all kinds of dried-on dirt and food particles. The Steam-it requires no chemical cleaner at all and only takes 30 seconds to heat up. All I have to change are the terry-cloth pads that go over the mopping head. These are easily machine washable. When I first got the Steam-it, I did a test where I wiped a white paper towel on an area I had steamed, and compared it to an area I had mopped. The steamed one was perfectly clean and the mopped one had left a dirty residue. I would say the Steam-it was VERY well worth the $150 dollars I paid for it.
