What the heck

My beautiful looking refrigerator has a mind of its own, like a child going through the terrible. Twos. It will display my chosen settings: I.e ..-8 freezer and 34 refrigerator. Two hours later, I reach in. To grab a vitamin water and it's room temperature. I have reset it, unplugged it, tried a kabillon times to reprogram the adequate settings, only to find thousands of dollars of stinking, thawed, rancid, and newly purchased foods looking like a coagulated, discolored. Wilting (expensive for me ) frozen and refrigerated foods! I would rather have my 10 year old, slightly rusty, good-old frig back.
