The kids love them, and that is all that matters to us...
We recently bought two InnoTabs. We got them so that the kids would have a "tablet" to use like mommy and daddy's. They love them. The only problems we have are 1) that they did not come with a strap for the pen to stay connected, 2) one of the tablets will not save the date and time when turned off.

At first it was amazing.
I purchased my daughter an innotab for christmas in 2011. She used it almost daily, until I could no longer afford to buy batteries daily, (the batteries would only last about 2 hours). In about July 2012 is when I stopped purchasing batteries and the innotab just sat there. I then purchased the ac adapter in August which was a few weeks ago. I got home to plug it in because she was super excited to use it, plugged it in, tried turning it on, and nothing happened. I held the power button down for 15 seconds, and all I got was a black screen. I'm unsure why it's not working anymore she hasn't even had it a full year. My opinion, being how I spent 100 dollars on it, it should last a lotttt longer then it did.

Great Toy
We have 4 of the inno tabs and the kids love them. They are great for a wide age range. Our kids are from 2 to 7 and there is something for all of them. The only drawback is the battery life we have went through a lot of batteries, we are only getting about an hour out of each new set.

innotab nice for children but bad web site
cannot seem to purchse anything from web site, keeps me on processing to 10 minutes or so then nothing !!!tried calling site 1800 and let me tell you on hold 20 min then disconected
