FTD cancelled an order the day it was to be delivered! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I placed an order on 2/9 for 2/13/16 delivery. On 2/13/16 I received an e-mail at 6:41am that the order was SHIPPED. Then at 5:55pm I received another e-mail stating that the order was cancelled due to availability. REALLY!! An e-mail a couple of hourse before Valentine's Day...No phone call, no other help...I spent 45 minutes trying to get someone to help me at the 1-800-736-3383#. I have been transferred 3 times into the useless "on hold" abyss. No one is taking any initiative to replace these flowers. I know have to go tomorrow, Valentine's day to find something at the last minute. I will NEVER EVER buy anything from this website again. I have just spoken to my friends about this FTD experience & they are very shocked that a reputable business like FTD is doing this. I am so upset. This is not going to stop here.

FTD Christmas gifts are awful. The food gift basket is what we receive every year from one relative. We throw much of the contents in the garbage due to its poor quality.

If I order from them again, I will get the flowers that are delivered by FedEx or UPS. I have always gotten beautiful flowers from them directly. When I order the flowers to be delivered by a local florist is where I have gotten the ugliest flowers ever. The look absolutely nothing like the pictures. The ones I have ordered directly from FTD are the Adrenaline Blush Bouquet (vivid pink gerbera daisies and roses) and they were stunningly beautiful and they lasted about 2 weeks. The Fabled Beauty bouquet also lasted forever. Those flowers were delivered direct from FTD. The packaging is as beautiful as the flowers. Once again, the flowers you get shipped from a grower are fine (unless you get really delicate flowers) and the ones delivered by a florist are bad.

Good quality; timely

I have always had a positive expereince with this company. The flowers have always arrived on time and are in good, fresh condition. Prices are competitive with other companies.

My husband ordered flowers to be delivered on my birthday. When I got home he asked how the flowers were. I said, "What flowers?" He called FTD and was told, after 3 hours of run-arounds, that they had lost the order. They did not offer to send new ones, or a refund. He ended up filing a complaint with BBB, and that got attention - they were supposed to refund, send an apology, and replacement flowers. Two weeks later, replacement flowers arrived, no apology. Flowers were ordered from a florist because I HATE flowers in a FedEx box. Of course, replacements came in a box, no water, after I had gone home for the day, so when I opened them the next day they were already dying. FTD has lost 2 customers. We will never use them again.
