AT&T...just wait until you have to deal with Customer (un) service
1. Lied and sent a sim card that was suppose to work in my existing cell phone.2. The sim card was to be delivered in 2-3 days. It took two weeks to arrive.
3. Then didn't work (after hours of phone dialog).
4. Then ordered phone.
5. They sent two and neither had my already ported number (with my landline cut off without my okay....the sales person said they would not do that until I called to activate the phone).
6. Then (fortunate they did send two) one of the phones they sent WE (me and AT&T) finally concluded was DOA.
7. Fortunately I had the other one they shipped and after going through 5 sim cards found one that was my ported number (the phones arrived 4-5 days after my land line was cut off).
8. So now I am only faced with okay incoming calls....a one out of ten success rate at being able to place a call...."no Service"...despite being in an "excellent area on their coverage map.
9. And despite another 3 hours no one is able to fix the issue nor do they call me back when their cell phone (or maybe them) decides to disconnect.

Customer Services and Payment Department were horrible
I have GoPhone and tried to refill but the refilled was denied but my account get deducted with that amount. Actually my account has sufficient fund but the payment was denied. I tried to contact them to get my money back and found out why. It tooks me more than 2 hours to try to get t speak to the responsible department. There were long waiting for the transferring and dropped my call. Nobody can answer my questions and get my problem reslved.I would not recommend anyone to use ATT at all, rather go for other carriers which have better customer services.

my friends insisted I get a cell phone for when I was away from home, traveling, emergencies, OK, I did. The cheapest was GOphone at $25. per 90 days, I ended up buying a year of time to ±S±T±O P the stupid emails you get almost weekly from the moment you refill.. most annoying. SO I am stuck with $200+ now and never need the phone, and it locks you out if you don't keep refilling. I was forced to pay another $25. to refill for 90 more days, and find where I live had NO coverage for calling. SO I CAN'T be at home to use the damn minutes up!! I MUST drive miles away to use the phone, usless piece of crap service!
They will not refund because they say you OWN MINUTES, not money to be refunded.. will not refund to my landline, or let me out of this in any frickkin way.
I did find out if SOMEONE ELSE has a ATT cell phone, and is willing to buy your minutes/money you can call 800-901-9878, and have ATT transfer the money/minutes value to their phone, and the person then pays YOU the amount you negotiate. I am willing to "sell" my $210. for just $175, so I can just stop using this phone. Then if I ever do need it I just pay the $25 to restart, and try to burn up the minutes if I can. sheesh.. THERE IS NO WAY OUT OF USING A GO PHONE!
I dont think there is a cheaper alternative going, but what a hassle for us who just aren't needing a cell phone.. ah buy a prepaid calling card /phone? a disposable one loaded with X minutes?

I had a very good experience on the phone with Homer today. He helped me figure out how to switch from one phone to another and how to correctly get my contacts copied to my sim card...etc. I was a verizon customer for 15 years and was at sprint for 2 years before I got sick of being yanked around with hidden fees and surprises. I love the flat rate of $60 (plus tax) unlimited calls and texts period, end of story, you pay, you stay. There's no way to get buried month after month trying to catch up. I love GoPhone. Thanks Homer, for your excellent service!!! =)
