Customer service
This the nearest grocery store to my house but 1st time I had a bad experience a guy name Timothy P was so rude even don't care about customer service or anything and doing his job like he is doing a favour to the customers for helping them out

Safeway store in Damascus, Or. needs a total update and better concentration on foods too old to sell and problems especially in the bakery dept. I have had fresh fruit issues, tough meat, and bakery selling dry overcooked goods. Just this Thanksgiving I purchased a pumpkin pie and before picking one they had broken crusts and burned on top filling on every pie but one and after serving one, it was the worst pumpkin pie ever. Last year I had a great one. I can't run to the store to return items every time they screw up. Courteous employees but bad foods.

got safeway signature chicken noodle soup today.no noodles in it.not even crumbs.2 chunks of chicken.i like your soups and eat them often but this was a cup of broth for $3.50.i dont work near a town or store and couldnt return it for new soup

I just finished eating your Safeway Farms Chopped Salad Kit, Italian, rarely have I found a bagged salad mix worth it's weight in salt. But I would like to say it's contents were fresh, tastly, and enjoyable. I normally reach out to a company about their products good or bad. But I feel I owe Safeway a compliment on a excellent salad. Thank-you.

Okay markets. But don't call customer service!
These supermarkets are on a par with their competitors. But their central customer service is incredibly useless. Why they publish the phone number is a mystery, as I've found on each of several occasions that it's just about impossible to get any information or help from calling it. You will lose your time and gain nothing but frustration.
