Smooth ride

I bought a used 2005 Buick Rendezvous about five years ago and have loved the ride. I have a nineteen year old who has driven it quite a bit and my rendezvous is a little worse for wear now, but still a good car. We did run into a few problems, as it has over 100,000 miles. Evidently the diagnostic system doesn't say when the water pump needs to be replaced. It overheated and the two different mechanics I took it to said they couldn't get it to over heat while they had it and they didn't find a leak. So, after overheating and taking or towing it in several times it finally started leaking from the head gasket and I had to have it replaced. Quite expensive. I said the water pump but they insisted not. So, great car, just insist on replacing the water pump!!!!
