Let me begin this review by saying that i suffer from two different kinds of arthritis. I do not like to drive mostly because it is uncomfortable. I have wanted one of these vehicles for the longest time. I finally found one in great condition with low miles. I have to say that this is the best car I have ever owned. It handles great. The ride is like sitting on your living room sofa. The motor is fast and strong. Heck the car thinks its a Corvette. Trying to past everything on the road.Maintenance has been easy and straightforward. Parts for the most part are easy to obtain. Those few that are hard to get new can be found on the internet. I would suggest that anyone who gets one of these vehicles get the Factory repair manual. Also find an old mechanic that is used to working on classic cars.
Tires can be challenging to find. The size it came with are the 235 /70 15 inch. It can be tempting to to replace these with the readily available 235/75 15 inch. But my thinking on this is that the car was designed for the 235/70 and main reason for owning a car like this is for the superior handling and ride. Why take a chance.
The creature comfort of this vehicle is outstanding. I had to have some of the speakers replaced and I upgraded the radio so I could have GPS. I was going to replace all of the speakers and the technician told me that replacing the ones in rear would not give me any real advantage because the quality of the originals was so good.
On the highway the gas mileage averages at least 22 miles a gallon.
I have been told by many people that these vehicles will easily last for 300,000 miles, with decent maintenance. To sum it all up I love this car.
