Great van but upkeep is a must.

I was able to finally acquire the conversion van of my dreams. It is the G1500 5.7L V8 limited edition. When I first got it in Feb. 2013 everything was beyond my expectations for a van of that year. Runs smooth and very quiet for having a V8. The only drawbacks have been the necessary replacements of certain parts that seem to be very common but critical to the operation of the van(Power steering pump, Fuel pump). If you haven't already, either replace these 2 items or keep a vigil watch on them and the minute they start to have issues, replace them. They are not very expensive to replace if you know where to look(Amazon.com, craigslist, pick-a-parts, etc.). Other than that I have been very happy and fully satisfied with my. Do keep an eye out for forums with these series of vans because they provide valuable info that everyone can benefit from.
