The "Timex", of Trucks, These trucks take a licken and keep on ticken.

I have a 2007 standard transmition and a 2008 automatic, both extended cab w/4 doors. The 07 has 15" wheels and the 08 has the 16" whells. The Power plant in both is the 2.9 4cyl. Great motor. Like the title says, these power plants are great. here in Missouri we are known for our historically outstanding Mules, well this power plant and pick up is built in Louisiana, but it sure acts like a big ol' Missoura Mule. Just don't mistreat them and they will pull, push, drag and haul anything you ask them to. I noted the wheel size because the only upgrade that they really needed, at least in my opinion, was I moved both the truck wheels up to the 17" wheels so I could get more clearance from the center of wheel to the the ground. My 08 is a 4x4 and the 07 is not, the fact is, with the taller wheels keeping the truck from gathering too much snow under it, the two wheel drive truck get around and handles just about as well as the 4x4. I live and drive on lots of steep hills and winter here is black ice and white snow and lots of both, full or empty these trucks make me proud to be a Chevy Man. God Bless America and Chevy.
