Cracked Dashboard

The dashboard on my 2010 Tahoe has a significant crack above the steering wheel and near the airbag cover. It just happened. One day there was nothing and the next day the crack appeared. I have read numerous complaint about the dashboard. I have never owned a Chevrolet and was initially pleased until this happened. Why is there not a recall. it is difficult to pay the monthly note and pay for repairs. Most of my family owns Chevrolets and I want the corporate office to put a recall in place. I can not afford it.
