You Won't Believe How Great This Car is to Drive..... WOW!

I'm 54 yrs young, female. I have owned a retail auto retail lot before in Palm Desert. I have owned many cars over my years driving such as: BMW, Lexus, Nissan, Toyota, Dodge, Honda, Mazda, Mercedes just to name some of them. I have bought many cars for customers and have driven everything out there on the road. Along came someone boosting about their VOLT and how much they loved this car. Their electric car! Electric car? WTF? A fast sporty Electric car? NO way! I WAS SKEPTICAL I really was. I looked up the Volt online. Wow. Cute. OK, it looks nice but I bet it isn't fun to drive. I was sure the car would be a real slug on the highway. WRONG! It's a ticket car even those who don't have a lead foot will need to hold back on. I'm so damn impressed with everything about this machine. AND IT'S A CHEVY! GREAT JOB American Automaker Chevrolet. You really though of everything and it's nice looking too....smart!!! Turns on a dime. So quiet now women can sneak up on cheating BF or hubby. I sometimes think the car is off when it's on. I love the fact I don't need to hunt for my keys all the time. I clip the remote and key to my purse and forget about it. It has a push button start on it so I don't need to unclip the key and remote from my purse. When I walk up to it I just press the tiny silver piece on the door handle and the car knows my remotes right there and the car unlocks. Easy in and easy out! No stress. This car reminds me of when I was a kid at Disneyland-AUTOTOPIA! I charge at home at night and then next day just zip off out my garage and I do 40 miles before I use any gas. In just a months time I have saved over 600.00 bucks on fuel. I had a beautiful 2013 deep red Chevy 1500 silverado truck. I loved that truck but it was everyday to the gas station when I had to drive a distance to get to work. I like that my 2014 Volt is both gas and electric. I'm an Artist with a lot to carry everyday and It has a great trunk space and seats in rear that fold down flat for hauling my bigger canvas art pieces and paints. The display is like something you would see in a movie about the future. Every time I open my garage and pull out and onto my driveway the sound my car makes and the sound of the parking brake releasing sounds like I'm about to take off and fly. It really feels just like I'm 20 yrs in the future. The dash is easy to see. I suggest reading owners manuals on this car because you will miss some very good features if you don't. Once you have studied your manual you'll be pleased with everything on this great sexy car that will blow the doors off any car in its class right off the line. It's amazing that at my age I've once again been pleasantly surprised & in fact have fallen in love with my VOLT!

I have only had my Volt a month now so I can't say about Durability really. I want to give it a 5 but then that wouldn't be a fair review of the product. So I'm giving it three stars, and I will post a follow up to my review here in 6 months and 1 year of buying this car. sounds like a great idea to me. I hope I love this car as much in 6 months as I do today!
