Winter road driving

I have a 2005 Ford Freestar and a 2002 Crysler Town and Country. My experience with icy, snowy, packed roads have lead me to prefer my Ford as it h olds the road better. Maybe because it is a heavier vehicle, it also handles the wind better. I like my Freestar!
