2010 Ford Transit Connect has been very good except for leaky 3rd brake light.
I bought this new and mostly have been very happy with the mileage, reliability, function. One issue that created some problems for me: bad gasket on the 3rd brake light. The housing on the 3rd brake light is not sealed well to the body of the van; it just does not keep moisture out. When the fixture fails it often shorts out and blows the fuse. This fuse is linked to the transmission and if it is blown will lock the transmission in park.I checked the lot at the dealership and all the Transit Connects had this bad seal around the 3rd brake light.
