power steering pump

The original PS pump went out about 40,000. I had been making a lot of 3 point turns and I must have put to much pressure trying to turn with the engine reved above idle. The second replacement was needed after I tried to get unstuck from a hard snow ridge and reved the motor. The pump blew instantly. The pump is a puny vein pump and any over pressure above what the relief valve can handle will blow it, by collapsing the veins. The hardest part of replacing it is putting the serpentine belt back on. There is no diagram under the hood or in the manual.
