Nice car, be prepared to put up with some problems.
I bought this car used & was told it may need a torque converter...Changed the transmission fluid & filter (138,000), still would only go into passing gear & 1st only.
Had the AX4N transmission (front wheel drive. Had to have it replaced (was told $2074.00 with tax for a new one)don't believe its a new one, looks old to me,however it works just fine now.
Had a problem with the idle & was recommended I put a TPS (Throttle Position Sensor)in it so I bought a new one.Incidentally, the night before I added a bottle of Chevron Techron to about 5 gallons a fuel in the tank & while driving home (drivers window stuck in door so was down) I smelled a sulfur smell, the next day instead of idling at 2000 rpm when it warmed up it was at 500 & running nicely. Apparently the Techron cleaned up some carbon that was causing the TPS to stick, so I took my $40 part back & got a refund after convincing them I never installed it.
Also watched a video on how to take door locks apart to replace door ajar switches & another video on youtube suggested simply oiling with like, wd40 the latches 3 or 4 times all 4 doors, that fixed it!
