Acer Aspire M5100 was not as much machine as I had hoped.

I bought this Aspire desktop to replace an HP that would not start. I immediately had to install more RAM to 3GB. The vista operating system was too buggy and I was constantly disappointed with crashes while transfering new software. It seemed quick until everything would freeze. I had a major breakdown BSOD after installing vista 32 SP1. Took a friend in IT to resurrect it. Had to replace power supply that was poor quality and power in order to support a new videocard. One day the computer just wouldn't turn on... tried every trick I knew and even learned alot more without success... I believe the motherboard junked itself while turned off... yes I know that sounds ridiculous but it was on a high dollar surge protector and totally powered down... I won't but acer again after checking out similar problems from other people... its too much a waste of my time! Wow what a waste of time!
