Aspire x1470 comes with 4Gb of ram!expandable to 16Gb!

Well first off you cant even get maching ram from Acer . Thats right you cant get Ram from Acer that matches the ram that comes stock in the aspire X1470. WHY? You would think that that5 would be a good money maker for acer... The machine is kinda doggy with only one stick of ram. After I got it full of 16 gig of ram I was still not impressed with the machine. That and windows 8 is really crap! After getting the recovery disks from Acer (that took major teeth pulling) I can tell you that win 7 64 bit runs on the system just fine the only thing i am having issues with is the 10/100/1000 driver. But I use a RNDIS CONECTION SO THE ETHERNET DRIVER IS NOT A CONCERN FOR ME.(FYI) Other than that the machine works way better with win 7 ultimate 64bit . Plus no "charms" and no windows store b.s. with win 7.Over all build a custom dont buy a "name brand"PC!
