Asko D5223 VERY NOISY

We purchased our Asko D5223 as part of an overall 2011 kitchen renovation. The sales rep is a friend and swore that her Asko was even better than our Bosch. We went with her recommendation, spent $1,000 on the dishwasher. It is so noisy that you can't carry on a conversation near it. Repair man says it is within spec for noise level, suggested wrapping it in insulation and using weather stripping around cabinet cavity. Horrid machine has caused more frustration than any other appliance/equipment/animal in our home. Handle jammed - repair call, Spewing hot wet air into cabinet cavity - causing cabinets to warp. Of course it is out of warranty. Happily it is headed to the curb on Saturday when the less expensive Bosch we should have ordered arrives. Cannot wait.
