What good is a monitor that stays black.

I have had this thing a week. EVERY time I come in it takes forever for the thing to wake up. I need it to wake up the minute I turn it on. I press the wake up button, I tried to set it not to go to sleep at all. I have read the manual, I have asked questions, now 40 minutes later I still have a black screen. Buy something else if you need to use your monitor immediately.
