buyer beware

i have this one now it quit on me 6 months after purchase (my first crashed pc in 17 years) called hp from computer shop they had employee take back off and athorized him to break warranty seals (but they were already broke) ended up having to send it in they did not tell me what went wrong or what they did to it but sent it back. a short time after it started getting so hot i was getting burned core temp was 152 f. it was after warranty expired so they refuse to discuss with me. the fans are not running anymore. but on the plus side my kids have put ti through a rigorous abuse test and they have been unable to bust it(they drop it 2-4 feet to cement)and it still runs
