Dell PowerConnect 22xx Switch Series

While getting older now, this range of switches are solid and available at good prices.

With a switching capacity of 4.8 Gbps and up to 8,000 MAC addresses they are good general purpose switches, or even core switches for smaller offices.

A real plus that switches in this class rarely have is QoS support.

They provide 2 priority queues per port, using a Weighted Round Robin (WRR) Scheduling process and pass 802.1p priority values, so even though they don't have VLAN capability, they will participate in VLAN partitioning and forwarding.

All in all, not bad at all.
