Beware!

I purchased this model a little over 3 years ago at Lowes. It has been very unreliable. When it was only a couple of months old the heat dry quit working and parts had to be replaced. This involved a month down time and 2 service calls. A few months after that repair the entire display went black and nothing worked! Service tech came out and showed me where the wiring where it was connected to the home wiring had burned through. It's a miracle it didn't catch our house on fire. About a year later the upper rack adjusters broke and the upper rack had to be replaced. At least it was still usable while we waited on parts. The most recent problem was an error 01 code. Called service again and luckily the tech could come the next day. The code indicated a leak under the tub. He looked it all over and could not find the source of the leak so had to order a "kit" which basically consisted of every tube and pipe that could possibly leak. While here he also put a huge scratch in the front door so had to order a new door panel. They scheduled to come back in 2 weeks but all the parts (i.e. the door panel they scratched) were not here so they scheduled another 2 weeks later. So, after 4 weeks of not having a usable dishwasher another tech came to change out parts. He was here for over 4 hours and was apparently in a huge rush to leave because he didn't test it. If he had he would have realized it was not filling with water any longer! Grrrr!!! I had to call Lowes and throw a huge fit. My complaint was sent to upper management at the warranty company. The warranty company is now sending me a Lowes gift card for the full purchase price I paid over 3 years ago for the dishwasher. Lowes handled all the problems in a favorable way. I have no complaint with them and will continue to do business with them in the future. The warranty company did what it was supposed to do. It was just very frustrating being without our $900 dishwasher for going on 6 weeks now. I thought when I bought Electrolux I was buying a quality product but it has been a nightmare. Beware!
