I purchased the expensive Frigidaire Gallery 3057KF electric stove with touch screen three years ago. Recently, the touch screen does not work. First the oven light button did not work, then the clock button did not work. Yesterday, I was unable to turn the oven off. Had to turn off my breaker in the main panel box. All these features are on the touch screen and do not work. I've owned various stoves all my life and this is the first brand I've had problems with. To replace the touch screen is around $500. So do I pitch the stove and buy another brand? I'm thinking yes.
