Older Model - Can still be effective if maintained properly
This is a great scanner to use if you have one lying around - after years of production this machine can still go strong, as long as you replace the consumables such as pick rollers and pads.Making sure the machine is free from dirt and debris, and doing scheduled quarterly maintenance will allow this machine to keep working many years into the future.
While not as fast or high quality as the newer scanners, this machine can be used as a secondary or a backup to ensure zero downtime during your project, and to even give a boost to productivity when used in conjunction with other scanners.
