I like this unit. I got the 421s instead of ant of the others in the series because I wanted the functionality of the VISION card, so saw no reason to pay extra to have maps preloaded that would be supplanted by the card I had to buy anyway.I mounted this in the main bulkhead of my O'Day 23 sailboat. (My boat already had a thru-hull mount, so I got the thru-hull sounder.) I like having speed over ground, compass heading, depth and current chart location all on the screen at one time. I am currently trying to tie it into my Standard Horizon VHF via the NMEA 1083 harness.
