"Okay" product

I purchased this swing at a consignment shop and thought my daughter would love it (she LOVES being held and rocked, and I figured this would give her the same comfort). We bought it before she was born, and the first thing I noticed was that the highest setting was pretty fast! Well, fast forward to her arrival and the first use of the swing. The batteries don't last long at all and the battery cover is a screw-on - a pain in the times when she wants to swing and the batteries die and I have to change them quickly. She seems comfortable in the seat, and can take naps in the swing, which I love. However, if I had known the batteries would not last long, I would have gone with a swing that could be plugged in!
