Hamilton Beach 49755 Coffee Maker

This is a unit that has a beautiful design and makes great coffee, It does however represent the cheapest and shoddiest construction I have ever seen, as illustrated by the flood of water all over my kitchen counter, due to the heating element becoming corroded and leaking. These products should be made in America, not China, I will not buy another Hamilton Beach product, unless it is made in America, and I would not mind paying a few extra dollars for the quality of American construction. Hamilton Beach has lost a loyal customer.
