needs high Maintenance
I have purchased M1120 Printer 4 years back, i have invested more than the printer cost in this period for maintenance of this printer. more than 25 percent has to invest on this printer for every year for maintenance.it has worked well for scanning for 3 years after that a cut appearing at the top of the preview. i dont know what makes this scanner to produce some colored vertical line, u need to open glass and has to clean it for good scanned picture.
its print quality is poor and cartridge will give less prints compared to other brands. i have faced many problems with the printer just after one year warranty time. once mother board problem, next gear broken bcoz paper stopped from printing by child. slow paper output. the quality if blackness in printing is never acceptable with very light color. u need to remove whole printer if paper struck up and if teared. after 3 years i have changed the Teflon roller because its causing double printing on the same page.almost all gears worn out for 3 years, at any point of time it will stop working. it is giving more noise while printing and impact sound will come if its taking paper in.
i think HP has stopped producing this printers.and the cost of the printer is high, huge weight one. think twice before purchase it.
