What Hitachi service?

I purchased a Hitachi projection set model 65f59a just a little over 3 years ago. Frankly I like the thing. Picture quality is good, sound could be a little better, works just fine. Well I was sweeping up the floor and the sweeper fell over and you know what, it hit the screen and bingo, you got it, a broken screen. I knew that it wouldn't be cheap to fix. The problem is just try to get one. Can't find a screen anywhere. Now, one would think that Hitachi would have them but NO and neither does anyone else. Now I could believe that if my set was 15 or 20 years old and Hitachi said that they do not carry that part because of the age of the set. I would go along with that. The set is just a little over 3 years old and cost just about $2,000.00 and Hitachi just wants you to throw the thing out because I can't get a stinking screen that Hitachi should be have in stock anyways. Now I don't know about Hitachi, but 2 grand is a lot of money to me, to just say good bye to 2 grand, just like that. I just want everyone to know and most of all Hitachi. If I can't get a screen for my TV and I have to buy another. It will not be a Hitachi TV and I am not buying any other Hitachi products as long as there is a breath of life in my body. Hitachi service stinks and their customers are the last thing they care about if at all.
