Pretty good fridge/freezer / lousy ice maker

Fairly good fridge/freezer, but the ice maker is another story. When ice is dispensed, the motor makes a loud buzzing sound; sounds like a very loud buzzer on a dryer to let you know the laundry is dry. It is very annoying. The ice maker has been replaced (Under Warranty), and it solved the problem for a couple of weeks, then started making the loud buzzing sound again when ice is dispensed. Seems to get louder as time goes on. LG says that this is "Normal". If this is the case, I would never buy an LG fridge again. I would buy a plain fridge without all of the computer garbage on it, but I can't seem to find one without a computer(s) on board. Now the ice maker puts out very little ice, so I have to figure out what's wrong with it. Fridge is not worth anywhere near $2,500. I'm no longer a "Fan" of LG. They say that "LG" stands for life is good, but I say it stands for "Lotta Garbage".
