Beware of Servicing Policy
As with all LG products that need repair to 'functional' parts, LG will not ship parts directly to the owner. Owners must use a technician. I had to replace the drain motor after 3 years (post 1 yr warranty), and was told by LG customer 'service' lol that they won't ship any functional parts to owners and that I must use an authorized technician. The quotation from the technician was for 350.00 labour and 129.00 parts.Follow-up: I ordered the OEM drain motor overseas for less than $50 delivered and it took me 22 minutes to replace the item.
Watch out for LG's IMO awful customer service.
