Need a better manual for setup with MAC vs. PC products

I purchased this router and it works great with a Dell and a HP laptop and VPN setup as well. However, if you have an IPhone 4 or any Apple product and forget about it - the MAC Product(s) see the network but can't connect. There is nothing in the 6 page setup that indicates the settings for an Apple product. Linksys Tech Support indicates it is an easy fix but they want $29.99 to change the settings. What a racket!
