Fabric softeners dispenser

Just began using liquid softened amonth ago. My washer was purchased in late 2010. The liquid, once I put it in, begins running out a hole just inside the door. I have'nt even started the washer. Other times it will leave the liquid in the dispenser through three loads. Now it is spraying some how out onto the glass door. Between this and the God aweful smell it puts out, I would rather have the good old maytag that use to last 25 years before you ever had a problem. Never again will I buy a new washer.
