McAfee Antivirus Plus 2010 : simply not the best
McAfee Antivirus Plus 2010 is a complete antivirus solution that offers many functionalities and custom parameters so that you can adapt the protection it offers to your needs.The customer service is relatively good, the persons I contacted during my subscription were knowing their product.
The downside is that it slows down your computer a lot (approximately 10 seconds more for my computer to boot).
In addition to slowing down your computer, it demands a lot of computer's ressources and is not cost effective for the environment (demands a lot of electricity, and in some cases, can cause overheat with laptops when performing deep scans).
Also, it does not offer the best protection on the market as it did not protected me from many viruses that my Microsoft Security Essentials did.
Finally, you may be better staying with the protection that Microsoft offers freely with your Windows, as it is better in some situations and don't slows down your computer as McAfee Antivirus would.
