I performed a trade in for a TX-NR609 from my older receiver.
Process was a bit cumbersome but I Got the unit in the mail. It Blew up 5 minutes being plugged in. Made loud gunshot pop and smoke and sparks flew out of it. This was the same day i got it.
Then spoke to supervisor Talia. She informed me she would send a replacement. Nice enough.
Got second unit, after sending original back. Now my Tuner cuts out every few seconds and volume through HDMI fades in and out and receiver doing weird stuff when switching channels. I never had this problem with my older unit and am frustrated of the quality control of refurb products. I don't think i'll be purchasing another onkyo and wish i would of seen these comments earlier.
