Good if you get a good one
I have mixed feelings about this machine. I bought it for three things....Decorative stitches......very good
Large area for quilting bigger quilts.....very good
Free motion quilting......this is where the machine lets itself down considering its name. Most owners would agree the machine is temperamental, sometimes it free motions beautifully but it often misses stitches. It needs constantly cleaning and minor tweaks on tension threads etc but it tends to do it if it feels like it.
There is no rhyme or reason as to it's changes in mood. Join the owners group on Yahoo and I would suggest if you buy one make sure you have a really good dealer/repair place near to you.....and never ever buy from Quorn Crafts Leicester England, they are the rudest, dishonest and most unhelpful company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with! And VSM isn't any better.
