Poor quality Heat exchangers

I have had to replace two heat exchangers within 5 years. The first one was after 13 months and just out of warranty. I spoke with the green manufacturer representative and he tried to tell me that it was a water quality issue. I have had extensive training and water chemistry and am a licensed pool operator. It was not a water issue. My previous pool heater lasted 19 years without any issues. I believe the quality of the Room heaters has gone down.
