Ryobi weed eater model RY28040 is not worth the money, does not hold up. Line feeders don't work, do not have an air filter and customer service sucks. Eight weeks to have repairs done. Do not recommend.

Great Tool For Yard Work

I just recently bought my Ryobi RY28040 SS26. It is a great weed eater for a very reasonable price. Spent no time putting it together, put the gas/oil in, pumped the primer bulb a few times, and it started right up. It has plenty of power to get through the densest grass and weeds. I have seen many bad reviews for this piece of equipment not wanting to start, or being finicky, but it hasn't given me any problems whatsoever. The day after I purchased it, it was 50 degrees outside (which was considerably cooler than the day I used it at about 70 degrees) primed it, pulled the cord 3 times and fired up. It ran very good with no sputtering. All in all, I'm very pleased with it and would recommend it for purchase.
